RateYourMusic Apple Music Art Links

SUMMARY

On RYM release pages (albums, singles, compilations, etc.) two Apple Music links will be added under the release art. One for standard definition art and one for high definition art. Apple music has high quality art, so this is an easy way to view album/single/etc. art at a high resolution while browsing RYM.

Extension will only be able to get links for releases that already have an Apple Music link in the social media section of the page, and will only return the art that Apple Music happens to use for their version of the release.

Extension was inspired by and heavily referenced Ben Dodson's tool linked below.

The latest version of RateYourMusic Apple Music Art Links is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 5 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-08-22.

HOW TO INSTALL RateYourMusic Apple Music Art Links FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download RateYourMusic Apple Music Art Links CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
