SUMMARY

This extension allows Chrome to incorporate MathJax on any Stack Exchange Chat tabs.

MathJax is a utility which performs typesetting on formatted LaTeX content. Users can freely create and share Math expressions and equations, as well as Chemical Molecular formulas and expressions using the included mhchem extension for MathJax.

LaTeX is the standard for typesetting in many disciplines including, but not limited to, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. It is widely used in academics for typesetting papers as well as individual expressions or equations.

The latest version of SE Chat MathJax is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 396 active users. The initial version was launched on 2015-04-29.

HOW TO INSTALL SE Chat MathJax FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download SE Chat MathJax CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
