NHK Easy Furigana on Hover

SUMMARY

This extension modifies the CSS on https://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/easy/ to hide furigana unless the user is hovering over the related kanji. This allows a reader to try and recall the reading of the kanji without the hiragana being directly above it.

The latest version of NHK Easy Furigana on Hover is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 134 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-10-29.

HOW TO INSTALL NHK Easy Furigana on Hover FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download NHK Easy Furigana on Hover CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
