SUMMARY

Currently, Chromium users (using Chrome or Microsoft Edge) on Windows are not able to see the flag emoji's. A country code is shown instead. This extention will replace those abbreviations with its corresponding flag using a special font. This extention uses the Twemoji Country Flags font, which is based on Twemoji (licensed under CC BY-ND 2.0). Icon created by turkkub - Flaticon

The latest version of Country Flag Fixer is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 7,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2022-06-22.

HOW TO INSTALL Country Flag Fixer FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Country Flag Fixer CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
