SUMMARY

Are you sending JWT tokens in your HTTP requests? Tired of copying tokens from the developer view into jwt.io when debugging?
This extension will detect HTTP(S) requests with an Authorization header containing a JWT bearer token, and conveniently display the contents of the token in Chrome's developer tools pane.

New: Wrapping of long claim names can be enabled in options. Default behaviour changed to less wrapping less aggressive.

The latest version of JWT Inspector is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 10,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-11-23.

HOW TO INSTALL JWT Inspector FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download JWT Inspector CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
