With Version 1.1.1 of this Extension, It uses a technology called RRDSA, which uses Sentiment Analysis to detect possible site that contains a rick roll.

2. Machine Learning Capabilities - Learn how strict the extension should block rick rolls and the strictness thoughout the time of a day.. The stricter the filter is, the longer the load time of a website is.

The latest version of RickRoll Detector is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-10-20.

HOW TO INSTALL RickRoll Detector FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download RickRoll Detector CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
