Make your New Tab a simple Blank Black Page :)
If you like a New Tab to open quickly and contain nothing this is the Extension for you. Get rid of the default Chrome New Tab and it's slow-loading privacy-pooping "Recently Opened Websites" icons.

Why did I write this Extension? Because I don't like the default Chrome New Tab, and most importantly I want my New Tabs to simply be a blank black page. So here it is!

The latest version of New Tab Blank Black Page is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 565 active users. The initial version was launched on 2018-07-15.

HOW TO INSTALL New Tab Blank Black Page FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download New Tab Blank Black Page CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
