SUMMARY

“Inspired by my findings in nature, ‘Under the Leaf’ was created to remind us that sometimes we only have to look under our noses to find what we’re looking for.”

Marisol Ortega is a first-generation Mexican-American designer, illustrator, and letterer living and working in the Pacific Northwest. She pulls inspiration from childhood memories of visiting her abuela’s home in Michoacán, Mexico.

Marisol Ortega es una mexicoamericana de primera generación, que reside y trabaja en la zona noroeste del Pacífico. Se desempeña como diseñadora, ilustradora y letrista. Se inspira en sus recuerdos de la niñez cuando visitaba la casa de su abuela en Michoacán, México.
