SUMMARY

Monsta Wallet is an extension for accessing Monsta Network enabled distributed applications, or "Dapps" in your browser!

The extension injects the web3 API into every website's javascript context, so that dapps can read from the blockchain.

Monsta Wallet also lets the user create and manage their own identities (via private keys, local client wallet and hardware wallets like Trezor™), so when a Dapp wants to perform a transaction and write to the blockchain, the user gets a secure interface to review the transaction, before approving or rejecting it.

The latest version of Monsta Wallet is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 20,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-10-17.

HOW TO INSTALL Monsta Wallet FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Monsta Wallet CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
