With this extension you can use the New Tab page the same way as before, the URL in the address bar stays empty and automatically gets focus as with the default New Tab page!

This application displays a white page by default when a new tab is opened. To customize this behavior, please navigate to chrome settings > extensions > My New Tab options. For security purposes, web sites displayed in the New Tab page will not have access to your computer's cookies or local storage.

The latest version of My New Tab is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 107 active users. The initial version was launched on 2014-01-15.

HOW TO INSTALL My New Tab FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download My New Tab CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
