Cypress SMART selectors extension generates clean, robust and efficient locators for any element in Cypress format. It generates locators even for those elements that could only be written in XPATH format, even though Cypress does not support XPATH.

The latest version of Cypress SMART selectors is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 2,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-01-19.

HOW TO INSTALL Cypress SMART selectors FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Cypress SMART selectors CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
