URL Form Filler

SUMMARY

Most of the order tracking websites and websites with search boxes are used frequently with the same values as the default values. But not every website supports pre-populating them with values from URLs.

This tiny chrome Extension just does that. You can use either the id or the name attribute of the form-field in the url to pre-populate the values.

An example url https://in.yahoo.com/?p=is%20yahoo%20news%20any%20good will populate the form element with either the ID or the name attribute equal to "p" with the value "is yahoo news any good"

The latest version of URL Form Filler is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 262 active users. The initial version was launched on 2014-10-07.

HOW TO INSTALL URL Form Filler FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download URL Form Filler CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
