Note 1: after installing the extension and before opening the UI (toolbar popup) please log-in to www.messenger.com via a Browser Tab. For some reason, the log-in page does NOT work from toolbar-popup UI.

HOW TO INSTALL Messenger Notifier FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Messenger Notifier CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
