This is especially useful for dual monitor users that may wish to continue working on other tasks with a large video playing. NOTE: PLEASE RESTART CHROME OR REFRESH YOUTUBE IF IT DOESNT WORK AFTER INSTALLING. In other words make your youtube fullscreen in your window! FYI the shortcut key to toggle this without clicking is "`" on your keyboard! There is now a OPTIONS page with 3 new options. To go there, either click the icon in your browser, or head to chrome://extensions and click on Details for Youtube Windowed FullScreen and click the "Extension Options". Please note some Shortcut Keys may not work correctly as YouTube, or your system may block them. Most keys should work if they are not reserved.

The latest version of YouTube Windowed FullScreen is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 50,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-05-01.

HOW TO INSTALL YouTube Windowed FullScreen FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download YouTube Windowed FullScreen CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
