AdGuard Extra is a browser extension that is supposed to fight ad blocking circumvention attempts which become more and more popular. Regular ad blocking rules do not allow us being as flexible as it's necessary, that's why AdGuard Extra was developed. ## Important AdGuard Extra is a companion extension, it is supposed to be used with a full-scale ad blocker like AdGuard or any other. It provides no user interface save for the extension icon in the toolbar. Your browser should allow you to hide the icon if it annoys you. Please note that it is only useful on a limited set of websites, and it does nothing on the websites not from this list. The latest version of AdGuard Extra is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 60,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-07-03.

HOW TO INSTALL AdGuard Extra FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download AdGuard Extra CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
