TeX for Gmail

Typeset math in the outgoing and incoming messages. The other person does not have to have TeX for Gmail installed or to use Gmail. Math is viewable in most mail readers and browsers, including mobile ones.

The latest version of TeX for Gmail is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 50,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-04-02.

HOW TO INSTALL TeX for Gmail FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download TeX for Gmail CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
