SUMMARY

Web browsers have native capability of slowing down or speeding up audio and video content on almost any website. This extension taps into this functionality to let you change the playback rate even on websites that do not make that functionality available through it's standard user interface. This extension is extremely lightweight with a very simple user interface and no fancy bells and whistles - just gets the job done!

The latest version of Playback Speed is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 454 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-10-17.

HOW TO INSTALL Playback Speed FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Playback Speed CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
