SUMMARY

The OpenCerts Downloader extension enables you to download a rendered OpenCerts certificate, discarding "all the advanced cryptographic protections". OpenCerts is great but having a rendered copy of the documents is handy, especially when having to upload to employment portals which have yet to catch up to the OpenCerts standard.

The latest version of OpenCerts Downloader is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-07-13.

HOW TO INSTALL OpenCerts Downloader FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download OpenCerts Downloader CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
