Chrome extension that displays the weather in the start page of the browser by showing weather info and a geo localized background image, using the free weather API provided by Yahoo. Features: The feed is automatically using the current system's language setting for the response info. Multiple locations that can be set/changed Option for Celsius or Fahrenheit display Option to have links to weather.Yahoo.com and Weatherunderground.com Option for background refresh (1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 hours) Option for weather date and/or last check date. The Start Weather extension was removed from the Chrome Web Store on 2023-09-26. At the time of removal, it had 807 users. The initial version was launched on 2017-08-04.

HOW TO INSTALL Start Weather FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Start Weather CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
