Web Notes

SUMMARY

This allows users to create notes or mark texts from the browser. If you visit a news website or wikipedia, you can select text and you can get a popup button 'Add Note'. On clicking it, the selected text will be marked as note. This works only with a paragraphs, and doesn't work in other types like title or list or form elements. And your selection has to be within a paragraph. You cannot select multiple paragraph to make note. So please be aware of this limitation.

The latest version of Web Notes is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 10 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-06-22.

HOW TO INSTALL Web Notes FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Web Notes CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
