Toolbar Controls for YouTube Music

SUMMARY

This extension can be used to control YouTube Music from the toolbar area of your browser without activating its tab. The extension allows you to pause, play, resume, seek, change volume, repeat one or all songs, shuffle playlist, mark as liked and disliked right from the toolbar popup. The idea is to use the YouTube Music without the need to activate the tab to perform the basic commands.

Notes: this extension only offers controls. In another word, the tab is the actual player. You can only control YouTube Music from the popup. Hence you need to have an open tab for the extension to operate

The latest version of Toolbar Controls for YouTube Music is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2018-09-18.

HOW TO INSTALL Toolbar Controls for YouTube Music FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Toolbar Controls for YouTube Music CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
