window.ai++

SUMMARY

A cross-browser polyfill for Chrome's latest API, "window.ai", for use on browsers without it (old chrome versions, other browsers like Brave, etc). Allows for usage of sites that use this API (chromeai.co) out of the box with the embedded Gemini Nano model. Future versions will include an option to use a different model, and non-local ones like Groq's models.

The latest version of window.ai++ is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 9 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-07-08.

HOW TO INSTALL window.ai++ FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download window.ai++ CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
