Primarily for assessment using Google Docs on Chromebooks, this extension automatically hides the Research panel and the Image Search panel within Google Docs to help ensure a secure testing environment.

To be used in conjunction with accounts which have been locked down via Google Apps Device Administration.

The latest version of Hide Google Docs Explore or Research is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 20,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-02-15.

HOW TO INSTALL Hide Google Docs Explore or Research FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Hide Google Docs Explore or Research CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
