SOEX

SUMMARY

SOEX is an extension for accessing all apps that support SOEX in the regular Chrome browser, which allows users to create and manage their own identities, so when a Web App wants to perform a signature, the user is given a secure interface to review it before approving or rejecting it.

The latest version of SOEX is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-04-23.

HOW TO INSTALL SOEX FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download SOEX CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
