SUMMARY

The Merge Window Extension is intended to effectively reduce the number of windows and memory consumption by merging multiple windows in the browser.

The extension detects a left click or the shortcut key "Control (Command) + M" and performs the following actions
* Merge all windows of the same profile
* Merge all incognito windows of the same profile
（If allowed to run in incognito mode）

Note:
To protect privacy, regular windows and secret windows will not be merged.

The latest version of Merge Window Extension is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 210 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-06-28.

HOW TO INSTALL Merge Window Extension FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Merge Window Extension CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
