One of the most infuriating things about using Jira is the fact that external links don't open in a new tab. Atlassian has refused to add this as a setting or feature event though many have asked for it. This simple extension solves that issue for you by editing all external links in Jira to open in a new tab or window.

The latest version of JiraLinks is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 23 active users. The initial version was launched on 2017-01-12.

HOW TO INSTALL JiraLinks FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download JiraLinks CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
