Web Application/Tool Sniffer

SUMMARY

Detects and displays web framework, CMS and javascript libraries running on the websites you are visiting. An icon will appear in the address bar that indicates the detected frameworks. Version detection is available on some frameworks as well! You can view the source code here: https://github.com/jamesjnadeau/chromesniffer I don't care to ever monetize this, or track what you're doing. Take a look at the code if you want :) I use this because I'm nosey, and thought I'd share my updates to the project. This root project is not updated regularly, and I've pulled in some changes others have submitted, and a few of my own tweeks. The latest version of Web Application/Tool Sniffer is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 2,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2018-12-26.

HOW TO INSTALL Web Application/Tool Sniffer FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Web Application/Tool Sniffer CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
