SUMMARY

The extension will add to the Youtube Short player an overlay with video control functions including stop playing, fast forward or rewind the video for a period of time that can be set in the settings popup.

The Youtube Short Controller extension was removed from the Chrome Web Store on 2024-07-18. At the time of removal, it had 3000 users. The initial version was launched on 2022-04-28.

HOW TO INSTALL Youtube Short Controller FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Youtube Short Controller CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
