The Messenger Dark Theme extension was removed from the Chrome Web Store on 2024-08-03. At the time of removal, it had 10000 users. The initial version was launched on 2019-10-25.

HOW TO INSTALL Messenger Dark Theme FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Messenger Dark Theme CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
