This theme is for people like me who loves dark mode in their OS but still wants to keep their chrome in the default white theme (instead of dark) as that gets confusing with the default dark incognito mode window. Note: if you don't prefer the new white separator bar "|" (screenshot 2) and want to revert to the previous design (screenshot 1), follow these steps - 1. Open chrome://flags 2. Search for “refresh” 3. Disable the 2 results : (“Chrome Refresh 2023” and “Chrome WebUI Refresh 2023”) 4. Chrome will ask you to reload the browser and that’s it! Done :)

The latest version of Chrome Original White Theme is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 40,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-06-23.

HOW TO INSTALL Chrome Original White Theme FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Chrome Original White Theme CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
