SUMMARY

A simple yet powerful webcam recorder extension with an optional audio capturing capability. The extension records your camera on-demand in WebM format. To protect user privacy, the extension does not send or receive any data from or to any server whatsoever. It works completely offline. The video files are stored in the default download directory. HOW TO INSTALL Webcam Recorder FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Webcam Recorder CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
