SUMMARY

This extension adds a context menu (right-click menu) item, allowing users to have selected text read aloud. It also features a popup that lets users select the language and speed at which the text is read.

The latest version of Select and Read is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 27 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-10-03.

HOW TO INSTALL Select and Read FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Select and Read CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
