SUMMARY

Show URLs in all link title tooltips and allow custom title tooltip appearance. Rather than moving your focus away from the mouse to see the destination of a URL, this will show the URL in a tooltip near the mouse when you hover over a link. You can either use your system tooltip (default), or specify a custom tooltip (with completely customizable styles using CSS). You may even have all tooltips appear with the custom tooltip style, too! This is a Free and Open Source extension. Look at the project on GitHub: https://github.com/nmbook/linktips-chrome

The latest version of LinkTips is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 212 active users. The initial version was launched on 2014-01-19.

HOW TO INSTALL LinkTips FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download LinkTips CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
