With UniversalNotes, you can view important context about misleading websites or websites that need more context, as well scam or spam sites. You'll be able to view notes added to pages by other users, and also add them yourself. We're an open-source, non-profit browser extension working to fight misinformation on the internet, get the extension and help our goal!

The latest version of UniversalNotes is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 75 active users. The initial version was launched on 2024-02-20.

HOW TO INSTALL UniversalNotes FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download UniversalNotes CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
