SUMMARY

The extension is used to view Instagram photos in full size. Once installed, when you enter the Instagram website, each image will have a magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner. Clicking on the icon will open the image in full size. Clicking on the image will take you back to the previous screen.
It works only with photos (both from the main feed and from each user's profile), but not with videos or reels.

The Full Size Images for IG extension was removed from the Chrome Web Store on 2024-07-18. At the time of removal, it had 1000 users. The initial version was launched on 2023-04-27.

HOW TO INSTALL Full Size Images for IG FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Full Size Images for IG CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
