Mute Noisy Tabs

SUMMARY

The extension helps manage the tabs which are audible (producing sound). You can use the extension to mute/unmute all the tabs which are audible. These tabs can also be closed, if desired.

Usage:
- Click the extension button to toggle the mute status for the audible tabs.
- Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut 'Ctrl+M' (or 'Command+M') to toggle the mute/unmute status.
- To close all muted tabs, press 'Ctrl+Shift+Comma' (or 'Command+Shift+Comma').
- To close all audible tabs, press 'Ctrl+Shift+Comma' twice.

The latest version of Mute Noisy Tabs is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 21 active users. The initial version was launched on 2016-03-21.

HOW TO INSTALL Mute Noisy Tabs FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Mute Noisy Tabs CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
