Prevent searches that may be tracked and tied to your personal information. Make your default page a SafeSearch page. The extension will load a search portal on your new tab. You can also easily search for images on Bing or find your favorite windows apps by clicking on the menu on top right in the new tab. The search queries will be redirected to our search partner Microsoft Bing.

The latest version of SafeSearch is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 2,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2014-09-16.

HOW TO INSTALL SafeSearch FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download SafeSearch CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
