SUMMARY

Specifically, here's how it works:

After installing, Sundial will show in the left column of Google Calendar.

1/ Search a place or timezone in Sundial. Sundial will add that timezone to Google Calendar. Add as many as you need.

2/ Select a time slot on Google Calendar and click, "Copy Time Slot”. Sundial will convert the time slot to written text that's ready to paste anywhere. It'll look something like this:

Tue, Jan 3: 10a-12p EST

3/ Select more time slots. The text will build and re-copy to your clipboard each time. After multiple selections, it'll look something like this:

Mon: Jan 2: 9-11a EST
Tue, Jan 3: 8-9a, 10a-12p EST

4/ Adjust the timezone by searching a place or timezone in the panel. The text will adjust and re-copy to your clipboard, looking like this:

Mon: Jan 2: 3-5p CET
Tue, Jan 3: 2-3p, 4-6p CET

5/ For team scheduling, Sundial works with any calendars you can overlay. So you can add your coworkers' calendars to Google Calendar and select the open time slots.

6/ When someone emails you to meet, click "View on Calendar" in Gmail. Sundial will read the meeting request and overlay the times on Google Calendar, automatically adjusted to your timezone.

7/ You can enable "Holds" in the Settings in the panel. A second button will show, "Copy & hold". When clicked it will turn the time slot to text and create an event on the calendar for the hold.

Sundial is free to use. The free tier offers 40 uses per month (added timezones, text generations, overlays) and adds "Scheduling by Sundial" to your emails. This helps spread the word. For unlimited uses, you can upgrade to Sundial Pro for $6/month. This helps me continue to support users and improve the product.

Thank you for trying Sundial. I hope you find it helpful!
