SUMMARY

Audible Volume Control is an extension that was created because I personally was tired of not being able to control the volume when using the Audible web-player.

At the time of writing this, Audible has just announced that they are discontinuing their native Audible app for Windows (it will probably be replaced with the Android version in Windows 11). Soon, the only option will be the web-player.

Should work for all domains.

The latest version of Audible Audio Control is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 3,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2022-05-24.

HOW TO INSTALL Audible Audio Control FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Audible Audio Control CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
