Once the extension is installed, navigate to any page with an HTML5 video or audio element and click on the extension to bring down the Player User Interface. Any changes made will affect all audio/video elements on the page and you can optionally control media across all tabs in Chrome using the Player UI.

Default Shortcuts:

- `s` = Decrease playback speed by .25
- `w` = Increase playback speed by .25
- `l` = Loop
- `o` = Pause
- `p` = Play
- `e` = Reset playback speed
- `r` = Restart
- `a`= Skip backward by the Skip Interval set in the Player UI
- `d` = Skip forward by the Skip Interval set in the Player UI
- `t` = Theater Mode

The latest version of Video Playback Extension is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2021-01-09.

HOW TO INSTALL Video Playback Extension FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Video Playback Extension CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
