This way, you can have fun and learn a foreign language at the same time. Learning languages through movies is very efficient. You learn pronunciation, writing, and culture at the same time. Supported services are Netflix, Amazon Video, and YouTube. § How? LingvoTV mobile Web App receives subtitles from the movie while you watch it. It allows you to click on any word or word combination to translate it on any device, without stopping the movie! § Connect app and extension. The extension is required to grab the subtitles from the movie and send them on to the Web App on your phone or any other device with a browser, which is why you need to play the movie in Chrome Browser.

The latest version of LingvoTV is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 8,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2016-09-26.

HOW TO INSTALL LingvoTV FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download LingvoTV CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
