SUMMARY

Consume an idiom, one in every 24 hours! Why? The idea hit me while I was reading The Martian by Andy Weir. Rich Purnell, a character in the book, is portrayed as an autistic person, having difficulty in understanding the meaning of the abstract concepts of the language. So here goes, a chrome extension that would help me and the likes of Rich Purnell become better at such play of words. Concept is to show one idiom per day, so that it gets hard-wired in our memory.

The latest version of Idioms and Phrases is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 1,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-01-25.

HOW TO INSTALL Idioms and Phrases FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Idioms and Phrases CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
