SUMMARY

Write a GitHub gist, present it with style. Publish a quick, anonymous note or a long essay—your content stays on GitHub, and gist.io makes it a pleasure to read.

This extension adds an icon in the omnibox on github gists and gist.io pages. Clicking the icon when viewing a github gist will take you to the corresponding gist.io page, and vice-versa.

The latest version of gist.io is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 23 active users. The initial version was launched on 2013-09-10.

HOW TO INSTALL gist.io FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download gist.io CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
