SUMMARY

This tool will scan pages for harmful irritants that are commonly found in beauty products. Simply click the icon to crawl the text of the page and receive a report on the irritants found. A popup message will be displayed summarizing the irritants found, and the words will be highlighted on the page. YELLOW highlights are AGING ingredients - Ingredients that will age the skin. ORANGE highlights are COMEDOGENIC ingredients - Ingredients that commonly cause or worsen acne. RED highlights are IRRITATING ingredients - Ingredients that commonly cause skin irritation. The latest version of Ingredient Checker is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 50 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-11-26.

HOW TO INSTALL Ingredient Checker FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Ingredient Checker CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
