Footy Chants

SUMMARY

Footy Chants is a free chrome extension that you can install from the chrome webstore. Once installed and enabled, click on the chrome extension icon and select your team. You should begin to hear background crowd sounds mixed in with your team's chants. Although the app itself is non-commercial and the code open source, the chant audio was sourced from: https://www.fanchants.com/. If you have any suggestions or feedback, raise a Github issue at https://github.com/roodrallec/footychant. This app was created by Björn Wahle & Jorge Nicolas Alexander

The latest version of Footy Chants is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 20 active users. The initial version was launched on 2020-05-27.

HOW TO INSTALL Footy Chants FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Footy Chants CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
