ZAP is a free OSS security tool which can be used to test the security of your web apps. This browser extension will allow ZAP to gather more information about your app from the browser. Most users should not install this extension. It will be bundled in a ZAP add-on - this add-on will add the extension to Firefox/Chrome when it is launched from ZAP.

The latest version of ZAP Browser Extension is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 386 active users. The initial version was launched on 2023-09-14.

HOW TO INSTALL ZAP Browser Extension FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download ZAP Browser Extension CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
