Serial Speed Reader

SUMMARY

This extension will display the selected text, word by word, so that you can read it without moving your eyeballs. Not for the faint of heart, but you may adjust the delay between words and the per letter delay to slow down the text display.

You may have to refresh the page when you first install this extension to get it working.

PLEASE report any bugs or problems. This is BETA but I would appreciate it that you do not treat it like a finished product until it's done. I will make improvements.

The latest version of Serial Speed Reader is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 121 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-09-06.

HOW TO INSTALL Serial Speed Reader FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Serial Speed Reader CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
