Syntaxtic!

SUMMARY

Syntaxtic! is a chrome extension for syntax highlighting on source files opened in Chrome. This extension was primarily designed for viewing files hosted in a web accessible version control system that doesn't natively provide highlighting but the usage certainly doesn't end there. A variety of color themes and default sizes can now be selected from the extension options page. The latest version of Syntaxtic! is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 8,000 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-12-26.

HOW TO INSTALL Syntaxtic! FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Syntaxtic! CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
