UTM Eraser

An extension to clean tracking request parameters from URLs. Please note that the parameters are removed from the URL after the page is loaded, so unfortunately this extension is not tracking protection. However, a clean URL is more convenient for sharing a link. List of query parameters removed by the current version of the extension: - "itm_source" - "utm_campaign" - "utm_content" - "utm_id" - "utm_source" - "utm_referrer" - "utm_medium" - "utm_term" - "utm_name" - "fbclid" - "gclid" - "ysclid" - "_hsmi"

The latest version of UTM Eraser is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 82 active users. The initial version was launched on 2022-10-21.

HOW TO INSTALL UTM Eraser FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download UTM Eraser CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
