Pusher Receiver

Pusher Receiver works with a jailbreak tweak called Pusher, and it uses RestDB.io as its backend. Pusher sends notifications to a database that the user is required to setup in RestDB.io. Pusher Receiver monitors the database for new notifications and then displays them as native browser notifications. RestDB.io is also useful for maintaining user privacy. The user is asked to enter a database name and API key in Pusher Receiver settings.

The latest version of Pusher Receiver is available on the Chrome web and is currently being used by 149 active users. The initial version was launched on 2019-12-26.

HOW TO INSTALL Pusher Receiver FROM A CRX FILE

1. Download Pusher Receiver CRX file
2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to download the ZIP file instead
3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
4. Enable Developer mode
